此系列酒款取名「瓏時」飽含緣起金門的含意，「瓏」有金玉、精巧、光明之意；「時」為四個不同的時節，指的是金門島上四種不同季節下之獨特景緻。兩字合一，除了描繪金門獨一無二的季節更迭，亦有金酒恰如這條坐看島上風光之祥龍，在龍年獻上最精緻的酒款，寄語龍運當頭，金瑞迎門。

金酒公司則指出，「瓏時」系列酒款設計由出生金門的年輕設計師操刀，將對家鄉金門的滿腹溫暖情意融入設計當中，在龍年時節，以翱翔於浯洲上空之祥龍，帶大家走過每個時序。四個不同的顏色及圖騰，蘊含四個不同的「瓏時」意涵，紅代表金門紅磚馬背古厝、白指金門霧起朦朧、藍象徵金門層層海浪、金則為豐收金燦的高粱穗。收納金門四時美好時光化為金酒佳釀，邂逅專屬於金門的「瓏時」之美！
